Yes there are more monuments than you can shake a stick and doubtless an abundance of natural beauty, but for me, a big part of what makes India, well India, is it’s people. From auto rickshaw drivers, to forest guards, Cambridge educated tea planters to artists, writers and historians, polo players, adrenalin junkies, maharajas and nawabs, jewellery designers and princesses, hoteliers and entrepreneurs not forgetting a generation of people who have been witness to a phenomenal history and untold changes. Here we meet them and in a quick 5 minute interview try to glean what India means to them.
